a. Self-Service IVRS

Residents can access various services round the clock, including checking enrollment or update status, retrieving Aadhaar number post validation, checking complaint status, verifying Aadhaar number, PVC Aadhaar card status, and receiving links for enrollment center locator and appointment booking for Aadhaar services.

b. Contact Center (Resident Support Executive)

Operational timings:

Monday to Saturday: 07:00 am to 11:00 pm

Sunday: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

Residents can seek assistance from trained support executives during these hours, except on national holidays.

Mechanism for Addressing Grievances via Toll-Free Number (TFN) – 1947:

General inquiries are handled by Contact Center Executives using UIDAI-approved Standard Response Templates (SRTs). Grievances or complaints are promptly directed to the relevant Divisions or Regional Offices of UIDAI in real-time via a CRM application. These issues are internally assessed at the respective Division or Regional Offices to ensure effective resolution, followed by communication with the resident.

Chatbot (Aadhaar Mitra) – uidai.gov.in:

UIDAI introduced a new AIor ML-powered chatbot for users, “Aadhaar Mitra,” accessible on UIDAI’s Official website (www.uidai.gov.in). The chatbot is designed to address resident queries, also enhance user experience. It also offers additional features such as locating Aadhaar Centers, checking Aadhaar enrollment/update status, PVC Card order status, filing complaints, checking complaint status, finding Enrollment Centers, booking appointments, and integrating video frames. “Aadhaar Mitra” supports both English and Hindi languages.
